Présentation du groupe 1 de 3ème ligue

Le championnat de 3ème ligue reprend ce week-end. Dans le groupe 1, Avanchet et Veyrier II sont les favoris sur le papier, mais d’autres équipes peuvent bousculer la hiérarchie.

Le tirage au sort a réuni pas moins de sept équipes réserve dans ce groupe 1 de 3ème ligue. La plus prometteuse semble la seconde équipe de Veyrier. Avec 46 points, la formation de Sébastien Gautier a terminé en tant que néo-promue à la 3ème place la saison dernière, juste un point derrière Grand-Saconnex et trois derrière Aïre. Les Veyrites ont renforcé leur effectif avec des joueurs d’expérience et devraient à nouveau jouer le haut de tableau.

Avec 40 points, Avanchet a terminé de son côté à la seconde place de son groupe l’année dernière, lui donnant droit à un barrage contre Grand-Saconnex. Malheureusement pour l’équipe de Martino Papa, c’est la loterie des tirs au but qui a décidé que Grand-Saconnex monterait à l’échelon supérieur. Avec un effectif encore renforcé, nul doute qu’Avanchet sera encore une des grosses cylindrées de ce groupe.

D’autres équipes peuvent également se hisser dans le haut de tableau : la jeunesse de Bernex II et Meyrin II, UGS II, voire même Genève-Poste. Bien que ces derniers ne puissent pas être promus, ils joueront leur carte à fond, malgré les pertes de Butty et Dylan Prezioso. Les néo-promu dans ce groupe sont Azzurri et Bosna, ce dernier de retour en 3ème ligue seulement une année après sa relégation.

 

AVANCHET-SPORT FC

Nos matches de préparation ont été plutôt bons contre des pensionnaires de 3ème ligue genevoise, ce qui me rassure en quelque sorte pour le début du championnat. Je suis conscient de la difficulté qui nous attend en 3ème ligue, mais après la magnifique saison de la saison passée, je suis confiant”.
